Perfection's new 2007

This has been keeping us busy, more a little later. The G56's DMF and self adjusting clutch is on the bench, we put a prototype solid flywheel in it, and next is a VT clutch.

Thanks guys, the wheels are Gear Alloy 713MB Double Pump, 20X9 +25mm offset. Tires, P275/60R20 LTX MS.

Truck looks good, wheels don't look half bad. What is the weight rating of the 20" Michelins and how is the sidewall strength? All the 20" tires I've looked up max out at 2833 lbs. but I've only looked at the slightly smaller 275/55/20.

Mid America Truck Show

Here's some pictures from the Mid America Truck Show, Louisville, KY. I drove the truck up from SC and we are in the show with Marmon Highway Technology. We are one divicion of this company. The truck is getting lots of attention from the over the road drivers here at the show. Several TDR members have visited, but the suprise was Anthony Cook of Mid-TN.

I see that you've gone through a few different air filter setups. Banks and aFe. Which do you like better, why?

We bought the AFE on recomendations of a few buddies here on TDR. I actually installed it first on my 2005, it installed OK and seemed to reduce hazing under load with my stock truck vs. the OE air system. Then I put it on the 2007, I recieved a follow up call from Banks about the installation, sent some pictures to Banks and they asked if we would install one of their new Ram Air systems on our 2007. The Banks in my opinion has a nicer installation of the air box, and it has a bellows coupling between the air tube and filter box, AFE didn't. I cannot critique the filtration of one vs. the other. I can say that the EGT's drop quicky in the 2007 when I come up to a stop compared to my stock 2005.
