Ive got something going on with my 2007 6.7 Deleted Ram. I keep getting the "Perform Service" in the Evic. Ive replaced the CCV on schedule and one time extra just because I had everything apart. Ive reset it every time.

This is something different. It started a few years ago with the first stage of Delete. DPF and EGR. I had it tuned and the "perform service" would show up at weird times, like after a heavy application of power or after about ten minutes towing a trailer with the cruise "on." I later went with a different turbo and had it tuned again, still the same problem. It would come and go but Now its on all the time.

Im wondering if anything else can activate the "perform service" light, like a malfunctioning CCV valve in the valve cover or some kind of Fuel injector issue like a leaking fuel pipe causing the filter to fill prematurely. The truck seems to be smokier (black) and less power than it used to have. Im pretty lost on this one. Any ideas?

What did you use for a tuner/programmer when you deleted? This maybe your issue if an incorrect tuner was used to delete. The tuner needs to address the total emission system when you delete.
Read your Dodge/Ram truck diesel supplement book on page 12 and 99, to see what the Perform service light is for! According to my supplement it is for the CCV filter, EGR cooler and cleaning of the EGR valve.

Most recently I used an AutoCal with Tunes from CTT. Ive had two sets of tunes from different vendors. Both were flashed with an autocal and were custom tunes that take into account the deleted items. I fully understand what the "Perform Service light" is "for"; I have read the supplement as well as the field service manual. It doesn't give any insight as to why the Perform service light would come on other than the CCV Filter replacement schedule. If there is some other technical information on the 6.7 you know of that could help me discover the triggers for the "perform Service" Light, im all ears. But telling me to read the supplement, sounds pretty rude.

Not really this was your first post! The members of TDR have no idea what you know or do not know! You do not list what tune/programmer you used so, I was trying to be helpful and also point out what the Perform Service Warning contains, it was easier to tell you to see the supplement than list everything that was written in the book!
Will Good Luck!

As far as I know the Perform Service message is mileage triggered only at 67,500 miles. There are no sensors that would randomly turn it on.
