Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Tomorrow I am having installed in my '02 Quad Cab, some kind of a performance enhancer (its a chip that modifies the electronics, I forget the name of it) that is supposed to increase torque by 140 lbs, and hp by about 55 hp. Its being done a "The Power Shop" in Enumclaw Wash. which I think is supposed to be a reputaple place.
He says I shouldnt have to do anything to the transmission. My truck is stock, and the only thing I pull is my 19' camper trailer, which Im sure doesnt weigh any more than maybe 4k loaded. We have a lot on mountains here in Washington, and I just like to fly over the passes.
I think I should be able to drive this truck now at 70 in OD without any problems, or decrease in hp
