Greg, we were at Sears Point Raceway. I expect to

Nowel:

once you figure out if you will be at Sears next Weds, let me know so I can plan ahead, want to see you run but my shift starts at 0600, so this will require a motel room.

Being the great competitive sport that I am, I need to let you know that I have my guys under the hood of the 6. 9 as we speaK

WE WILL BE READY TO GO!!!!!!!

Big Jake/Greg,

I'm going to be at SPR mid afternoon on Wednesday unless something changes. Big Jake, you memember seeing us blow the intercooler hoses off at Sac. I changed the rigid 4" pipe on the drivers side to a longer version and my hose problems seem to be resolved. Knock on wood :)

So let's make it a date! I want another shot at that 6. 9 fire breathing V8

I will not have the truck, as it is loaded with a couple of paint sprayers and a lot of latex paint, I will make motel reservations tonight and see you guys on Wednesday, I will be driving my commuter, maybe give you a run in my ricer!!!!!

OK, roger that Big Jake, we will be in the staging lanes. Big Bad Dodge promises he's going to get some nice vid footage. As we always line up on the right side to avoid smoking out the starter, the east side bleachers make a great vantage point.

Hey Mojo! How's that B1 working out? You gonna come out and watch us set some low times? Tell that cheby dude to WATCH OUT!!! Fast diesels are on the loose:)

The B-1 is working out just fine, I had to get used to a little more lag. I was very satisfied with my dyno at Scheid 423hp and over 1100lbs of torque. This is exactly where I thought the truck should be. Wish you guys weren't so far away, I'd really like to see them run in person. Great Job!

Nowel,

If you could, I remember when Bob took that old transmission thread to the top, and you said you have "other options" that your using now for trannys. Are you using lockup for these runs?

Good luck today!!!

Andrew

TDK, actually we are looking at options for next racing season. I need a different converter. We need something with a higher stall so we can make boost at the line. And then we also need a more aggressive lock up system. We are trying to get the TC to lock once we get into OD. Not so sure we are getting it to go in though.

I don't believe the ATS TC will work with the manual valve body in my transmission. Eric can lock his TC immediately once he's off the line. That's a nice advantage.

BTW, race day is tomorrow. I'm working on the

rear end and pulling the propane tank out today. I'm going to pump the tank out, fuels been in there since May Madness:eek:

Thanks for thinkin' 'bout us :D
