Surprised someone didnt think of this earlier- pyrometer and 40psi boost gauge. With stock injectors and a PDR HX35-18 I'd peg my 40psi gauge in my early 91.
I have no idea how many turns the fuel screw had been turned, but they guy at the injection shop said I was flowing 125cc when I got it redone (asked him to leave fuel settings alone and he obliged). "Custom" grind on the AFC cone will help power output as well.
Intercooler will help control those EGTs, too. ANd if you are goin to have to cut on the core support, may as well set it up for a 2nd Gen IC. Bigger cooler, bigger tubes, better cooling.
POD injectors will give you an extra 28-30hp; not worth $400+ IMO. Plus they smoke like heck... . There are other options, but I think the stockers will take you beyond 325RWHP if you intercool it.
Just my opinions, take 'em for what they're worth.
