No, I can't say that. What I AM saying is that any turbo capable of supporting 375+rwhp will use a larger than stock downpipe and render a turbo mounted brake obsolete.

Big Bob, I know it means continuing to wait, but the Edge boys tell me the prototype box doesn't make the heat they expected it to. I suppose that's good news.

HMMM... . 150 hp (or whatever HP they expect) and without all the heat of the TST??, BUT they are using pressure to get there right? I had thought they had pretty much given up...

could it be that they (with pressure) have better atomization, there as the TST box has just MORE fuel, not better atomized?

150 + lower egts, but can they top the 550 Torq?

I ONLY get the EGTS skyward when i mess with the torq enhancer, the HP does not seem to effect as much as the Trq level

Tomeygun, when I was there last week, they were not using rail pressure, just timing/pulsewidth. I watched the truck on the dyno, but didn't see the gauges.

the ksb1 (wildcatdiesel/piers) is comparable to the dd jammer - i think the ksb1 is slightly better, but neither handle the advertised capabilities of the new tst box.

the "dodgezilla" is ONLY available for the 2nd genners and will not work without SERIOUS modifications - better said, it won't work. city diesel who makes the dodgezilla is working on a turbo that is larger than the present dodgezilla and will target big fuel (tst) 3 genners --- spoolup?

as far as running the stock exhaust with a larger turbo is a bonafied oximoron. putting on a larger turbo and running it through the restrictive muffler makes no sense. you don't see the big rigs running down the road with restrictive mufflers, those stacks are of a straight though design. besides, you can get quiet aftermarket exhausts that are obnoxiously quiet (banks); the 54" donaldson in a five inch system is another quiet set up with high flow.
