Man I have successfully oiled the roads here in stratford , easton , westport , wilton and back with my chronic drain plug leak. (Man even the NEW HOUSE hasn't been spared  ) anyways I had a quick drain type plug (The one with theh tube found at geno's) that worked great for me no problems Until I took it off to clean out the inner workings of it and NEVER was able to have it sit right ever again (Brass gasket deformed) so I as of the turbo swap un installed it and got a NEWISH factory plug gasket and re installed it as of two days ago ... ... . WRONG!!!!! leaking even more! so yesterday I drained a fresh oil change and removed it alltogether to install the factory plug once again ... ..... problem solved right ... ... ... WRONG!!!! leaking even worse   so I broke down and bought yet another plug kit from geno's (The finger touch kind) and I hope this will be the end of the saga. Keep in mind the leak is DEFINATELY the plug.

Any input as to what additional steps I can take when I re install the new plug kit? Add some O~Rings , concrete, lead, ..... ???

P. S I checked the routing of my anti~Puke bottle line that goes to the skid plate and no leaks are evident at all so rule that out. as I did that mod with 100 miles on the rig so I wouldn't have to deal with that mess from day one :D

Further investigation will probably reveal the pan is the problem, not the plug. Might try a little silicone on the threads and gasket of the plug. If that doesn't work... you have a problem.

I worked on a van here a while back that had a cronic leak due to a small crack in the pan beside the plug. Their solution? They welded the plug into the pan. The leak stopped!

Mopar Muscle Don't Start

Texas Diesel I allready gave myself the heads up for that one and I can't detect any visible warpage.

keimmmo Ya know that's where I wanted to go ..... er only the idea wasn't to go welding anything but the concept is there tho

Haaaahaaaaahaaaahaaaaaaaa

Aha! For all that is wholy I have fixed the roadoiler! No more need for those cute little pads with "Wings" :D What I found was this ..... The shoulder of the quick~N~Easy drain plug (The one with the GREEN tube extension) does not have enough material to seal to the drainpan. Seccondly the new Fingertouch valve has TWICE that of the previous unit in sealing area. THIRDLY I HAVE A DIVOT IN MY PAN   right at the edge of the threaded area which was causing that hellacious leak.

Iii'm goin' to sizzler and you arrrent II'm havin' some steaaaak and you aint WAHOO!! come balki we do the dance of joy!

Daaas Right no more oily discharge.

However I have now expeienced a new problem with the PDR 40.

I can't get traction off a launch. I actually spun THRU 2nd gear today  but my puke tube (Exits aft skid plate) has a steady stream of huff flowing from it after two back to back runs ... . why?? ?? ??
