Man I have successfully oiled the roads here in stratford , easton , westport , wilton and back with my chronic drain plug leak. (Man even the NEW HOUSE hasn't been spared
) anyways I had a quick drain type plug (The one with theh tube found at geno's) that worked great for me no problems Until I took it off to clean out the inner workings of it and NEVER was able to have it sit right ever again (Brass gasket deformed) so I as of the turbo swap un installed it and got a NEWISH factory plug gasket and re installed it as of two days ago ... ... . WRONG!!!!! leaking even more! so yesterday I drained a fresh oil change and removed it alltogether to install the factory plug once again ... ..... problem solved right ... ... ... WRONG!!!! leaking even worse
so I broke down and bought yet another plug kit from geno's (The finger touch kind) and I hope this will be the end of the saga. Keep in mind the leak is DEFINATELY the plug.
Any input as to what additional steps I can take when I re install the new plug kit? Add some O~Rings , concrete, lead, ..... ???
P. S I checked the routing of my anti~Puke bottle line that goes to the skid plate and no leaks are evident at all so rule that out. as I did that mod with 100 miles on the rig so I wouldn't have to deal with that mess from day one
