Competition Dallas/Fort Worth Dyno Day results

I just gotta tell someone !! Bill Kondolay and Jim Fulmer teamed up on my truck and put in a lockup switch for me Friday. I went right to Mission Raceway where I ran the following numbers (in order) : 13. 017 @ 102. 62, 12. 935 @ 102. 68, 12. 885 @102. 83!! That last run saw me with a 1. 717 60' time; one of my best. Oo.

Not bad for a truck that puts out 459 rwhp.

I'll be running in Bremerton Sunday in brackets. Wonder what it'll take to get in the low 12's... ;)

Thank you DTT!

Way to go girl. :D

That ought to wake up a few non believers. Personally I think your running faster because of the extra weight on the go pedel from that broken foot. Haha

I was too busy putting in twin turbo's in a 03 dodge. Didn't finish it up until 7:30 last night. ;)

Girlfriend... . wondered how you made out at the track... good job and nice to get to meet you, had to bail out and start heading home today, I'll make it a point to come up again!

Jim

I guess our discussion on the phone never resulted in a lockup switch  . Good times girl. And no I dont feel you breathing down my back as of yet. :D

Congrat's on the times RR, I knew that cast would'nt slow you down, may have to keep it around for race wear:rolleyes:

Doing the happy dance (again)

Thanks for the support you guys (nice to meet you too, Jim)! You're all my role models, you know... :)

So we almost got rained out at Bremerton. A bunch of us spent more than 1/2 hour driving on the track to dry it out. It was fun as they encouraged us to do burnoffs and such... Oo.

We did not get any time trials, just right into eliminations!:( So I found out in the staging lanes that if you run faster than 13. 00 you are disqualified in Sportsman! Gulp.

I ended up dialing a 13. 10 and beating the guy so badly I was braking before the 1000', crossing the finish line at a 13. 51 @ 76. 23.

I re-dialed at 13. 00, as I was running my fastest 60' times ever (1. 693, 1. 695, 1. 712), and played the game. I managed to go 5 rounds (beating the poinst leader in the 4th), going out in the Semi-finals by breaking out (DOH! ) with another all-time best of 12. 79, hard on the brakes (crossing the line at 97. 06mph). My fastest mph of the day was 103. 60. If only I could combine those runs, I think I'd have been in the 12. 6's... :D

I managed to walk away with a check, but no trophy this time... :)

Guess I'll be moving to the Pro division. Better get to practicing on the lights, eh?

I LOVE THIS TRUCK!!!!!

Darn truck is almost as fast as my bracket car!! Anyone coming to Vegas for SEMA the local track is open Friday night. Joe is trying to get as many trucks as possible to come on out!! Will probably try my luck with the'03 and see what happens! Also Dyno day the following Monday!! (hint, hint ;) )

Vegas...

Yeah Pat, I just couldn't take being out-done by a Chevy... :p

Where's the info on Vegas? :D (somebody STOP me! )

Also, anyone know if there are driveline loops that can be bought for my truck? Something I can just bolt on...

tempting...

Where's the info on Phoenix? You're going? It's a couple day drive, eh? If I could get driveline loops I'd be really tempted.

The D'max didn't have the front loop I need...

Someone had said there's a company who sells them, but I don't know who... Help!

Driveshaft loop

Try enterprise diesel thay have loops for sled pullers you will only need the loop around the front of the driveshaft. And you can proubably pass tech with only one at the transfer case I would also do the front of the rear section of the drive shaft. And no more than twelive inchs from the U-joint.

Rhonda, it was nice talking with you at Bremerton on Sunday. I was the guy with the turbo AWD car asking all the questions and cheering for you. ;) Thanks for the reality check on getting my 2WD 6-speed into the 13's... not! :) Oh well, I'll stick to racing my car and just dyno the truck. BTW, you are crazy girl! :D

Great times on the 1/4 mile! You are one crazy, lead footed girl... :D I wished I could have seen the faces on the guys that you beat at the track... . Reading this post makes me wish I had an automatic... .

Charles

Hey Shawn. It was nice chatting with you. Although you have a stick, you should definately modify it and why not hit the track a few times? You'll still shock people... :)

The staff at the tracks really gets a kick out of us diesel folks; we do draw a crowd (and then bury them in smoke)!:D

Astonishing times. Antispifieistically speaking, you’ve reduce those by more then a second since spring. Your laborious implementations exemplifies direction to omnipotence…

Oo.
