I don't understand why a person should be forced to step down due to having an affair, either. And for it to be making front page news almost everyday. How does his extramarital business affect his job, unless there was some sort of security leak, or the woman was somehow connected to contracts that were out for bid...
I'm not condoning it, just wondering how this is all connected.
