Yeah if you search Urea funny thing is the Flurosilicone whatever the Blue ones are listed was not tested on that chart in the link.

I found a little bit older Parker book (not super old), 56 pages of all sorts of chemicals, straight UREA not included. Guess no one figured hey let's try one more thing.... or their purchasing agent was like NO, I'm not buying that for you idiots.

Tomorrow morning my favorite parts guy will have fill and vent tube, injector tube and fuel pump all for $500 including tax.

Son will have a current model OBD ? So he can run tests after parts are installed. He is selling me his so I can have one for my truck.

Missed you today. The garage door guys said you had taken the tribe to lunch. Did you go to the Stanwood Hotel?

From the codes it looks like the pump should fix it. There is another case that shows the pump with hydrocarbon contamination and the red heat strips look like your photos.

I wish I had a scratch and sniff so you all could smell the DEF pump when I removed it. It STUNK BAD of chemicals. I double cleaned the tank to get the odor out. Son installed the new fill/vent and injector lines.

Finished it all up started truck and check engine still showed and see dealer for DEF appeared. He couldn’t get his new OBD scanner to work and finally decided to wipe out old program and download new and it wiped out all codes and now seems to be back to OE condition. Total cost for parts $490 out the door. Truck seems to have more power now.

We REALLY APPRECIATE everyone’s help on this!!!!!!! Another happy ending on the TDR.

I just had to replace the pump on my 13 because the gauge sensor on it quit. I wish I knew your parts guy. That was a heck deal, and ordeal glad you got it fixed. I might have to remember all of that.

He matched moparpartsonline.com pricing.

The diesel ruined the pump for sure. I am glad the sensor that is part of the tank was not effected.

Follow up to the "Blonde" story of how she only saw one nozzle. They stopped in Amarillo to look at the pump that caused all the problems.

I say "Door #2 Johnny" :D

I will admit it took me asking the attendant WTH they hid the DEF nozzle at an Arizona QT truck stop first time I attempted it.

Turns out they are only at the Big Rig pumps not the two lighter class fuel pumps in the truck stop diesel island.

Ok then WTH is it, NOW?

Yeah, behind the door and it rarely freezes here in Phoenix, AZ.

Big Rig diesel has a higher tax on it than smaller weight class vehicles in AZ so two high speed pumps are the lower tax diesel. The S L O W auto diesel pumps are on the other side of the building with gasoline pumps. So I have to move to another pump for DEF after getting lower tax price diesel OR fill out and sign a paper to get a refund on the extra diesel tax at the station.
