Pets, in the truck..?

I refuse to let the kid have their pets in the cab... they gotta ride in the back. .

Is that an extended cab? If so, there should be plenty of room for the kids as well as the pets! My wife thinks pets mind better than kids and would probably make the KIDS ride in the back. Oo.

That reminds me of the time I was assigned to feeding milk to one of the newborn calves. I was probably 12 or 13 at the time.



After a couple of months of taking good care of him, Gramps told me to help Gilbert load the calf in the pickup and go to town with him. Away we went to town, where we dropped off the calf at this nice little place with a small coral. I sure was a naive little boy, thinking that the calf would be well cared for.



A few weeks later, at the dinner table, Granny announced that I was eating my pet. :--)

Once we drove by a Mennonite farm and I asked Mrs Doc what all those doghouses are out there in the barn yard. When she figured it out she got real mad at me
