well after doing several runs at redline i decided to go to pfi speed and try my hand at their dyno jet and see what i found. I must say I wanted to do this in order to dispute others saying my old dyno numbers were in accurate and ficticious.

Now with the six gun off

we got 416. 16 and we got 777. 45

with the six gun on 3

we got 427 and 904. 76

not much hp increase a little disappointed about that but like the torque

then level six we got

532. 53 and 1098. 50

i was happy with this i was actually shooting for 550. 00 and 1100. 00 so the torque is there just need to get that hp up. Nothing a bottle of propane can't cure

Matt,

Rick from PFI called me after you did today and said that your truck felt good. He is the guy who drives most of the trucks on our last two or three dyno days up there.

Propane and $ for what you break. That stuff makes me nervous on our trucks.

Nice numbers.

Right on I bob I was listening to rick talk about a black truck that won the dyno day last time with something like 623 and he said basically it was like water meth injection but he also but nitros in it. I think that's what he said all in one system? can that be done? I never heard of it until then i think there was probably a miscommunication there. Oh well. I was comparing the torque curves from both facilities and wow are they different. How much of your result will depend upon the operator in differences in the numbers. I think that the manifold and twins are haunting me in my sleep. Yeah those guys are really cool there they said something about just making something but i already said that you were the man putting that thing together

This is brandon the guy with the black truck. Yes it is posible to run water and Nos at the same time it works great. There are a few tricks to get big number on the dyno at pfi. It is a none load load style dyno so it is not going to give you a load to light your turbo. And with a common rail that sucks, because the truck wont add fuel unless it see's boost that is your problem. That is where the Nos comes in. When you shoot Nos at the begging of your run and the truck see's that boost and it adds fuel and Boom 0-50 Psi in about 2 seconds and you spike the dyno and then you get your big numbers. Send me a privite mess if you want to know more

The problem I've seen with dynos in colorado is that the correction factor is so high, so when you go to lower elevations with a lower correction factor the results are way different.
