Last night I took my 03 ctd to philly. I was a little nervous about parking my truck in downtown. Well on the way in this guy pulls up beside and gives me thumbs up. He liked my truck with my stacks on. I thought that was cool! So we get to the next stop light. The guy has his window down. He has his cell phone in his hand with his buddy on the other end. The wants me to step on it so his buddy can here my truck. So I did. This guy stayed beside me for about 8 lights so he could hear that cummins. When I got to where I had to go. I got to park in a parking garage. The parking attendent parked me in what they call the pit. Because of trucks height. The first thing out of the attendents mouth" Hey is that a cummins". I said yes it is . "He like thats cool". I can't believe the way people admire ctd. Sorry this is so long. But I figured some might be interested. Thanks Rhino50

It allways nice to have people comint on your truck. I love driving in parking garages, drop it into first and just cruse with little short burst of speed when theres a straight away, see how many car alarms you can set off

Had a guy in a grocery store parking lot walk up to my truck as I was getting out and said THATS A HEMI RIGHT! I said HELL NO its a CUMMINS!

I get asked stupid questions all the time about people who know nothing about diesels. I think the funniest thing is the shock on these morons faces when i tell them its "only" a six cylinder. By the way Rhino, How does the truck sound with stacks? I have been contemplating the idea for a while but havn't had the balls to put them on yet.

I really like having stacks on my truck. I like people to here me coming. My neighbor tells my 03 with stacks is not as loud as my 01 with bd exhaust was. It gets really loud at 2200 rpm. But at that rpm I'm speeding. Speed limit is 65. 2200 rpm is 75. It cool when even the ricers look ! rhino50

Yeah I dont know how I fit in this one(only one I have been in so far), I thought forshure I wouldnt be abel to fit but with stock tires and just a 2inch spacer I had about 5-7 inches of clearance. Even though I fit it was scary driving by seeing those pipes coming close to the top.
