Since I assume you tow with your rig, have you done any yet?

I am also close to stock. Just trying to keep those towing EGTs down so I can turn it up some more.

I tow some.

With the few engine mods in my sig. With the 3" system I could hit 1150 EGT's with a car and trailer behind me. I hauled a 73 Olds cutless from Tulsa to here one time. I ran all the way (775 mile)at 1150 degrees, 90 plus on outside temps. (That cost me a downpipe also, it cracked the flange).

I hauled a load of round bales a while back on a 25' goose neck. I had 7 bales on it at 1200# each. I was hitting 1100 EGT (this was after my injector change a while back) on a 30 degree day.

Remember my 3:07's load a engine differentely than a set of 3:54's do.

When and if I turn mine it. It will not be enough so I have to drive by a gage. I am not going to setup the truck where I have to let off the throttle because of fuel settings to high for a hill. I want to hit the top of the hill on the floor above the speed limit if possible. :D

I like where the tailpipe exits now, looks good. I don't care for the way the 2nd gen tailpipe exits either.

Philip, did you ask the guy how much for a complete system, downpipe to tailpipe?

No I didn't Bill.

What he did on mine took about 2 hours and set me back 1 C note.

I would get a downpipe and let him do the rest. He can't bend 4". But he can flair it. He works mostly with premade bent 4" for a complete system.

He works over at Dixie Chopper on 3rd trick. He drives a maron/silver 2nd gen 24 valve with a chrome brush guard on it.

I told him I had a friend doing a conversion on a middle 80's CC that might be giving him a call when its ready for a an exhaust.
