Three Kelderman Trucks in town yesterday

Looking for a new truck

just want to know how a dual exhaust would look on a 2wd, maybe want something exiting in front of each rear wheel or just the normal rear exits, how does it look, any photos.

Go to my readers rigs gallery, page down to the bottom and there is some pictures of my duels on a 3500 4x4. These are by Rip Rook. 4" all the way back with 5" chrome tips straight out the back.

be carefull

A few years back a friend owned a FORD that exited the exhaust in front of the wheel/rim and over the course of 6 months it started to have a reaction with the metal content of the rim and turned it light green, kind of funny to look at. Ford replaced a bunch from what i was told and they extended the exhaust to behind the wheel. Anything for a bean counter to try to save a few bucks on a cheap piece of pipe, but it came back to bite them in the _ss. I don't know if they still do it or have gone to a differet type of rim/metal content----mind you this was on a gasser so it may not apply to a diesel,i don't know.

I know Banks is coming out with a brand new duel exhuast for the new Rams. I was told it should be out by end of summer. I know there aren't many Banks fans around here, but their exhuasts are fine. I had a Banks exhaust of my past 2 Fords, never had a problem.

5 inch in, dual 4 inch out muffler.

I should have more info on the system before too long, as well as pricing and availability.

Thanks. I wanted them to come out at that same angle, but at the corners like I had on my 98 dually. The frame rails make that difficult to do without alot of the pipe showing. I remember seeing pics of another member's truck that is set up similarly. I don't run a spare tire. If I did, this particular setup wouldn't fit on this truck.

SWEET! Setup Jeff real trick look'n.

Just wondering... ... . do any of you guys with dual exhaust get the dreaded 2K RPM or 2K+ RPM drone on the interstate?

So far I have no drone with this setup. EGT's are a little slower to rise then with the old single 4" system too.

Matt, where did you get the muffler? I have to redo my exhaust (new turbo) and that looks like the ticket. Now mine run straight out the back, I like the way it looks but it's a pita to hook up a trailer, the smoke blows in your face so bad it'll bring tears to your eyes.
