Exactly Josh. You could run 60 psi of boost, and have the gasket hold. Throw some... or a lot... of water in there that doesn't compress and that gasket could let go, because of the higher cylider pressure. I didn't get close to 50psi (not even 40) on my stock gasket and bolts. The new trucks are supposed to be able to do that. Now with the o-rings and studs I'm not afraid to run it at 60psi... if I can ever get that high, getting closer though.
Back to the topic. Are these gaskets tough enough for a "real motor"?
