Ive been looking at getting a newer bike for a while now and really like the Victory bikes. My local dealer had a great deal on a 2011 Cross Country so I went for it, this is the smoothest, nicest handling bike Ive ridden! Pictures were taken at the deal, ill try to get some better ones, was to busy riding all day

Lucky Dog!!!

You gonna' get all leathered up before heading out???

Gonna' be a lot easier to look menacing and all that on the Victory as opposed to your previous ride... :D

Congratulations!!!!

Mike. :)

Congrats on the bike! I'm sure you will like it. My son used to work for a dealer that sold Victory's. He knows bikes pretty well and really liked the Victory. Said they were very well made, and American made too! Good Luck with it.

Have you been up along Big Sur yet?

haha, I have a jacket but no chaps, just more for safety don't really care for the old disgruntled Harley rider look.

Havent been up to Big Sur yet but really want to, just got the bike yesterday and the ole Suzuki wasnt ideal for long trips so will start doing a lot more trips now.

The Victorys are really nice bikes, the only people that dont like them are Harley guys and most Victory owners I know were Harley riders that wont go back, the local Victory dealer takes a lot of them in on trades.

Not saying there's anything wrong with Harley but you paying for a name

Some better pics

WoW!!!. . COngrats on the bike... This is kinda wicked, I was just coming to the Other Vehicles area to post asking for personal experiences with the Victory lineup... I too am shopping... I know the Polaris line very well as I have owned and abused about 10 different Polaris ATV's...

Does the 106 have plenty of grunt? is it a low RPM engine as compared to the Metric bikes? U have factory pipes/silencers? or something a little louder?

Here is what I am looking at buying... Suppose to go have a test drive this coming week...

Victory Jackpot - Dealer Special!

Would REALLY value your opinion of the over quality and real world experience on a Victory... .

Well Ive only put about 200mi on the bike this weekend, have ridden a couple other Victorys and think there the best bike for the money. The 106 has a lot of grunt, it likes to be over 2000rpm and 2500+ is smoother but it is a solid mounted engine so it lets you know if your lugging it. I went for the Victory stage 1 exhaust and ecm kit, has a nice deep rumble, just cruising at a steady speed you can barely hear the exhaust but the more throttle you give it the louder it gets. Those Jackpots are really nice bikes, I rode one with a 250 rear tire, it corners good for what it is but not as well as a narrower tire and it will probably go through 2 front tires to 1 rear. I dont know if you dealer is participating in the promo but Victory is doing demo for the new Judge and if you go for a test ride you get a $1000 coupon towards purchase of a new bike and you can bump up to a 5 year warranty for $550. You can still find some good deals on 2011's too, my local dealer has this Vegas 2011 Victory Motorcycles Vegas SANTA ROSA VEE-TWIN SANTA ROSA, CA 707-523-9696 then there would be $1,000 off that price.

yeah, the dealer doesnt want to let me test ride it without the MC endorsement... and Im not willing to bu on looks alone!!. Guess I should get my license before proceeding. .

Hows the Victory doing? Put any more miles on it???

Ahh ya the MC endorsement helps when test riding, The Victorys doing great, haven't put to many more miles on it, maybe 50, went out for a ride after work. Every time I ride it I love it more and more. I have a service truck for work that I take home so cant ride to work, kinda a bummer on some days but since they pay for fuel im not gonna complain!

If you take care of it like you did the Suzuki, it should give you years of good service. My motorcycling days are a long way behind, but in the mid '70's, I had the opportunity to test ride a Suzuki RE-5 rotary. Ran good but very complicated. I think it was the only one I've ever seen.

Believe it or not, the local HD dealerships dont care if youve ever thrown a leg over one... wanna ride it, hop on!!!.

Trying to get off work so that I can atleast go take a peek tomorrow... I like the ape hanger model too... atleast from the pictures... never can tell how its going to look in person!.

Been doing some reading, all I have found bad to say about Victory was there were a couple year models that had notchy feeling shifts, and some O2 sensor issues with the F. I. engines. . but they seem to be from several years ago, like 06-08 models... other than that, every thing I have read about them, people rave about how great they are. . Well, EXCEPT for my H-D friends!!. .

It's doing great, did the break in service last weekend, has about 700mi on it, done some riding with a passenger and it handles good or having that much extra weight. Last weekend I took it on Fort Ross Rd which is a very windy hilly road and it did good, passed a lot of touring bikes and dual sports but not a single cruiser , they avoid that road since it would not be fun in most cruisers but I left it in second and cruises right along.

Thats awesome. . after looking at the Victory Jackpot limited edition( pearl white) in person, I have decided against it. .

I did sit on a nice looking Victory Judge... !!

Its doing great, only have 2k miles, was hoping to have a lot more by now. I did change the exhaust to B&E Atom Bombs, has a real nice deep rumble now, even my Harley buddies agreed it sounds way better then there bikes. Still have my other pipes too so I can change back if I want it quiet.

Still havent pulled the trigger on one for myself. Keep eyeing them every week... . Everyone I talk with that owns one says the amount of torque the engine makes is incredible... .
