Picked up my 2003 today!!!!

Picked up my 2003 3500 QC SLT 4x4 with HO and 6 speed.

This truck is sweet, although I miss my 2001 a tad.

The 2001 gave 58,000 trouble free miles and I hope that the 2003 will as well.

Only 58k on a'01? Heck it was barely broken in, I thought i would miss my '97 too, only problem is it keeps coming back home (must have forgot to remove the autopilot when I traded it!!) Actually the man that bought it from the stealer keeps coming over wanting to know everything about it!! Good luck with the new one!!

MMeier - You are right it was just starting to break in. The 2001 was the first Dodge truck I did not put over 100K within the first 3 years of ownership. The 2001 never gave me any problems. I replaced the lift pump at 40k, call it preventive maintenance and performed all the routine maintenance myself.



mconstable - I did not order the truck. I dropped my wife off at the mall for an after Christmas sale, so I went down to the local Dodge dealer to haggle with the salesman. I told him what I wanted and he found the truck down in Salem, Or.

I could not come to an acceptable deal with that particular dealer, so I went to another dealer on 12/30 and they had a 49. 00 over invoice deal going on the trucks. Next thing you know, I am the proud owner of a fine 2003!!!
