Picked up my new toy

This is to replace a 1956 International 350 utility gas non power steering backhoe I sold a couple of years ago while recovering from a motorcycle accident. I will be looking to upgrade my truck to a 3500, although with the 19. 5s I had no problems the photo is a little fuzzy. [/IMG]#ad

That looks like dual tandems, and a full size BH rarely is under 14K Lbs. The trailer has to be 5K empty. That is a HEAVY load.

One of the operators I had on a project had a Case backhoe he pulled with his 98(I think) 2500 auto. Of course I asked if he knew what it weighed. Said he was almost 30k combined. Had over 100k with original trans. No gauges, no mods. Not sure he ever even washed it.

The trailer has single 17. 5s it weighs 5950 empty the data plate says 21,000 gvw it has big brakes 12x3-3/8s stops good the tractor is 14,840 on the scale at the local gravel pit the truck should be around 7,000. The trailer is a custom trailers brand trailer out of Atlanta GA. it was yellow when I bought it.
