Picked up the new truck Friday and drove it back to Seattle from Spokane early Saturday morning! I've made that trip more times than I care to recall, but this time it was much more fun due to the new rig. The new truck is AWESOME! The ride and handling are so much better than my 01. Even thought I bought the HO, the 35's zap the power... . so I do miss the power from my modified 01... but I won't be looking back! My wife didn't even hear me come home this morning it was so quiet! I know I'm going to have fun... . can't wait to drive it tomorrow! I've never attached a photo to a post before... so here it goes! -Ken

MMeier and CityRam,

Thanks for the comments!

Mmeier, I'll try to get a few shots off today of the tires, and maybe a better shot of the truck as well. I wasn't real happy with the photos once I shrunk them down.

CityRam, It has a 2" spacer on the front end... sorry I forgot to post that.

MMeier,

Here's the photo's you asked for. If they're not large enough, PM me with and e-mail address and I'll be glad to send you better quality images. -Ken

Now that I've figured out how to resize an image correctly... here's a better shot of the overall truck/tires. -Ken

Damn, thought that was his reciever for the onboard entertainment system!!:D Ken, thanks for the revised pic's, Mark

MMeier and Stout,

I ordered the Sirius Satellite Radio with my truck... but they didn't tell me the receiver was that big! Seriously, when I was taking the picture I didn't even notice that the satellite receiver looked like it mounted on the top of my truck! I guess I was mesmerized by the new truck! It took me a while to catch that error..... thanks for busting me on that one as well! :D

BMinett,

I have the 3. 73's. If I had to do it again knowing that I was going to run the 35's, I probably would have went with the 4. 10's.

Ken, did you take delivery of the truck with the 35's directly from the dealer? If so, did your dealer make and speedo corrections? Have you checked the speedo accuracy?

I just put my 2 inch kit in the front. Tires are going on soon and I'm interested in getting my speedo accurate after the tire change.

There's been a couple of conflicting threads in the past. One says you can only go down to 636 miles/rev and the other claims his dealer corrected for 315's but couldn't elaborate.

PCline,

Yes, I did have the 35's and 2" spacer installed (at Les Schwab) prior to delivery.

I did ask about the speedo correction and my salesman (great guy to work with... how refreshing!) talked me out of it. He said that they could make the correction if I really wanted it, but he said DC was getting very strict with their warranty claims and if I had the adjustment made, they could use that against me in the case of a transmission failure, etc. Who knows if they could really use that against me, but I don't want to take that chance. On my 01 I ran 295's without the speedo adjustment, it was about 5 mph slow. No I haven't checked my speedo yet for actual mph, but I will soon and let you know.

Congrats and good luck with your new truck! -Ken
