Congrats :D

I ordered one day after you. I was able to track it all the way till it got off the train. I guess I should get it by the end of the weekend! :)

it's odd the way things work... i ordered mine just over a week before you did and mine will be arriving in cottage grove, mn tomorrow afternoon. then i have to wait for it to be delivered to the dealership. looks like i won't be getting my truck until tuesday... oh well... enjoy your truck... post some pics the help those of us who are still waiting... ;)

here intial impressions this will be long but worth the read

-first i must say before i point out the negatives and positives this is by far a superior truck to my 99 not even on the same scale. i put it in a simple phrase that most 03 6spd ho owners would agree THIS IS ONE BAD MF!

-got 12K for my truck came out owing 22K total 34K my note is like around 400 :)

-oil seemed a little low in the front and rear but it did have good amount

-six speed is loud and makes all kind of funny noises not sure if this is normal

-hard as he double toothpicks to get into reverse:(

-forget using first gear

-other than noise and trying to put it in 4 instead of 6 and reverse the 6spd is very smooth!

-this is the best handling truck i have ever owned brakes... . whaaat!..... off the scale.

-i am starting to feel self consious from all of the gaulking:cool:

-rattle in dash  i am so ****** about that one

-power... . unreal

-motor has an awsome sound in the cab

-comfort awsome

i could go on but it wont if you are thinking about an 03 it will be worth whatever you pay "life is short play hard"

CC,

The transmission will loosen up and the shift patten will become much easier. Don't worry about the transmission noise, many of us have it and it doesn't seem to be a problem. Mine is quieter now that I have a few miles on it. Personally, I use 1st even though I sure don't really have to. Just my way.

I am glad you like your truck, the Mexicans must have not read some of your earlier posts;) . If you think you like it now, you will like it more every time you drive it:D . Good Luck.

Dean,

your right the six speed is loosening up! it is also getting quieter. Oo.

"it started as lust now i think i am falling love"... ... shhh... . dont tell my wife :-laf

CC,

You should check the laws in Louisana before you get too involved with your relationship between you and your new truck. The wifey could have grounds, not to mention a trip to Angola:D

:-laf :-laf :-laf :-laf

Pull that new puppy up beside a building or concrete barrier. Roll down the right rear window. Start off normally and listen to the new exhaust note. The Mrs can't even begin to make a sound so sweet!:D

Rattle

Cat,

I have the same rattle in my dash. It only does it at idle and if I apply pressure with my finger behind the top of the dash directly in front of the stearing wheel it goes away. My passenger side mirror is vibrating badly also. Truck goes in tomorrow to get fixed.
