Pro/Con impressions after test drive

My truck is in, 3500 QC, HO CTD, and my problem is I cant get the silly grin off my face. I havent been this exicted since I was in high school and I was getting ready to go out on a date with a girl whom I was certain I was going to get lucky with. For the first time. Sorry, just had to post, I am really tap dancing. Anyhow I take delivery in the morning so I will likely post with my impressions.

Congrats krabman! Your in for one sweet ride! Plus the darn thing just keeps getting smoother, quieter and more responsive.

I think I've even broken mine of the nasty habit of picking on fords! (Well almost... )

Oo.

Oh yeah. I know EXACTLY how you feel. Congratulations.

I am having the exact same problem!

I was on my way to work this morning and as I was nearing

the exit to my dealer, I had a twinge run up my spine that my

truck was in. I exited and as I drove into the lot I saw a line

of trucks that had been delivered over night. I guess it payed

off to call Cassens Transport yesterday and inquire. They told me it was scheduled to go out in the next couple of days, but that

he would tag it to be expedited. There she was, a beacon of

white light at the front of the pack, as if she had the other

ten 1500's in tow. (i know she could pull them all)

I will have a bitter sweet day today, with a funeral this morning

and taking delivery this afternoon.

As I inspected her from head to "tow", the only problem I could find, was my fault for not ordering the Snow plow prep package

and upgrade tires. Without looking underneath for the front pumpkin, I could hardly tell it was a 4x4. The 2500 with plow prep sitting next to her was 1" taller to bumper and from top of tire to wheel well. Oh well I am sure she will still pull a house

and this leaves me room for improvement. :) :) :) :)

Truck Problem

I've had my truck for just over a month (2500 QC SB HO 6-speed) and I still haven't stopped smiling! Well, except for having the clearance lights leak in heavy rainfall - but the dealer fixed those quickly.

Now its in my driveway. It was a 460 mile drive back home from Dave Smith in ID and had a little time to become aquainted. Things are really going downhill. My silly grin has turned into a full blown smile and Im having to exert considerable willpower to keep from laughing maniacally. There is one downside though, I saw some nifty goodies for my truck in a handy pamphlet my dealer gave me. When I started pointing them out to my wife I noticed her hand reaching toward a 2x4 and she had this look in her eye...

I took delivery yesterday. Oo.

My wife found me at 2:00am this morning (yawn) out in the

heated garage in the drivers seat reclined with tunes playing

fast asleep with a grin from ear to ear.

It's gonna be a long day today until I can go out and drive her.

Maybe I can find some errands to run or maybe I better go

fuel up or...

:D :D :D :D :D
