I am getting ready to build the extentions for my pickup camper legs.

Question is, How far have others moved the legs out so the dual rear wheels pass between the jacks?

It looks like the 3500 is 10" wider on each side over the 2500?

I think 10" might be a lot. If I was to travel down the road with them on I think I would measure 102".

I still have not been able to find a picture of any of these jack extenders that are for sale, but have several ideas of what others have "home built" after the last thread.

Dually extensions

My neighbor has a 3500 and the slide-in has brackets that swing out and lock into place for loading/unloading the camper. They are around 3" to 4" at the most.

They can be purchased at HappiJac in the Jack Parts area as pn 540000 $149. 95 plus tax/shipping etc.....

Re: Dually extensions

thanks for the link. But from the picture I can't figure out what the heck they would look like, or how they mount if one was going to try to duplacate them :)

Could you give me the title of the last thread you mention? I'm interested in extending my mounts so I can load/unload my truck camper from my gooseneck trailer. The extensions are needed to clear the trailer's fenders, which are 102" wide. My concern is the leverage factor added by extending from the camper's jack mounts. Thanks.

They fold back IN after you load up the camper, to get back down to the camper width
