Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Pickup to balancer clearance ?

How much clearance should the pickup on the balancer have? This is on a 97 automatic.

The RPM pick up on the balancer should be . 049"-0. 51". I just put mine @ . 050", pressed the pick up against the feeler gauge and tightened it down. Worked fine.

Thanks and thanks! Ya, she does run pretty good. Was really surprised at how well it ran when I bought it 3 years ago and finally got around to making sure the KDP was where it should be and it was. Made sure it goes nowhere with a tab... .
