Everyones opinion... is just their opinion :-{} . Personally the truck looks so mean and killer. :-laf Trucks as big as our CTD Duallys need bigger wheels to begin with. Undersized wheels and tires run my G56 at to high of RPM's and I also will be doing this conversion to my new 07' Dually. My 05' SRW 3500 CTD had 37" Toyo MT on 22" wheels. Big wheels compliment these trucks and anyone who will compare them to a rice burner or bling bling SUVs with big rims is someone still running their factory 16's or BIG 17 inch stockers I am not trying to get anyone fired up... just letting guys know, there are new ideas out there and not be so skeptical. As soon as mine is done I will post pics what they will look like on a standard Dually.

Just got them on my buddy's truck last night. His adapters finally came in. Everything went pretty smoothly on mounting. He has a 2" leveling kit up front. Tires are 255/70R/22. 5 16ply lug tires rated 5600# a piece. About 24-25/32nds of tread which I like. Steel wheels on the inside rear. He has G56 in it so the 36 1/2" tires gear it out just right to me. He will be coming back by shortly and I will get some better pictures.

WOW those are cool, If you don't mind the Q as im sure everyone is..... how much and or where can I get a set? Also how does it perform? any negatives with the setup so far? What tire psi do you run. Also I would be interested you old tires and rims so let me know if you don't have a plan for them

Trying to answer as many questions as possible here:

This guy decided to do it because know one else has done it to a Mega cab yet, so he wanted to share with everyone whether they liked it or not so at least people would decide what they would or wouldn't do to their own truck. This guy tows a bit so he opted to not lift it (Thats what I would have preferred). The truck can be setting on pavement and you can turb the steering wheel with 1 finger still because of the narrow width. In my opinion the bed is too small, but it was too small to start with and he wanted the Megacab so to each his own. He can't help it if Dodge made the bed too short. Another reason he went 22. 5's is because I hooked him up on the price. My dad owns a truck & trailer dealership. The tires & wheels he priced at a place where he priced 19. 5's and he said that they were right at $5,000 + shipping and that doesn't come with the lug tires, just highway tires and those lug tires are $100 more a piece. I sold him tires and wheels to him for $3,000 which was the same price as him ordering 19. 5's. He just had to buy the adapters which was $825 more. I didn't mind doing that though him being my buddy and all and I actually had those extra wheels setting around.

Oh, and he has my Quadzilla XZT on his truck now and he says it still pulls better then stock wheels/tires and no box. He also says he loves the gearing better now on the highway especially @ 70-75mph. I gave him a set of centramatic wheel balancers for the front and he says it is perfect, but he says the back has a slight off balance movement to it. I told him next used big truck I get in that has the balancers on the back I will take them off and give to him. All I need now is to get my box back from him, so he can go buy his own.

Also I plan to put Hankook f26's on it are these a decent tire. Thanks for your help. BTW truck looks MEAN!!

His rear bottom overload springs were not aligned with the rest of the spring pack and we had to back the U-bolts off and align and tighten it back down. When the tires are bolted there is only a 1/2" of clearance between the sidewall of the inside tire to the spring (which is plenty if the springs are aligned). Centramatics aren't hard to come by, just call them up and order direct. And the Hankook f26's I don't know anything about, but any 255/70R/22. 5 14 or 16ply should last a while.

8. 25". 7. 50" wide would probably be better though because they won't stick out as far in the rear. The fronts had no issues whatsoever. And 255 series tires will fit well on either tire.

Looks sweet, also makes my 19. 5's look like 15's I think it needs 2" of lift all around to put a little gap back in the wheel wells. Is it 6spd or auto???

I aired them up to 115psi to seat the bead on them. I told him after a few days start airing them down to 60psi and see how it drives. I don't think he ever got to doing that though.



He was running drives on all 4 corners.



The ride was smooth. He had it up to 115mph on the interstate after he calibrated his speedo.



It is a 6spd.





I keep typing past tense here because this past Sunday morning at 5:30 AM on his way to work he ran off the road and flipped the truck. It is totaled, but he is OK. Some bruises and a couple scrapes. He said it never tore up the tires/wheels though.
