Hey,

Anybody got pics of their trucks with something between the factory 265/70/17 and the ever popular 315/70/17's?

I've been looking at the Goodyear 305 MT/R's, but am thinking maybe the 285 will net the same basic effect. I know that technially there's almost a 1" height difference, but I'd like to see a set mounted up.

let's see what ya got!

Andy, I've got 285 BFG's on my truck on the link in my sig. I've got around 4k miles on them so far and I'm very impressed with how they ride and handle.

here is mine on 315s i love em and i think they are the perfect size. i did a leveling kit and a 1 inch block in the rear to fit em, they do rub a lil bit on the trailing arms at full lock but rims or spacers will take care of that, but believe me it is minimal.

I have 285 MTR's on factory alloys (check my profile for picts) . I like them but wish they were a little bigger to fill out the wheel wells a bit. I have about 13000 miles on them and the fronts started cupping at about 7000. I re balanced and rotated and everything is wearing well now.

If you do put the BFG MTR on watch them closely. I have had mine over a year and put 32,xxx on them. They will cup on the front, have rotated when I started to notice them. I am hoping to get another 8,000 of them before buying some new ones. By the way mine are 285's on weld rims, and they look *****en. They stick out about a 1 or 2 out of the fender, I dont remember what backspacing they are and have never had a rub.

285's

These are my 285 Toyo Open Country's on factory wheels. This pic is with the rear lowered 1. 25"

For straight looks I do like the Nitto's that Paul has on his truck the best. I think he said they were around 3,400 lb rated as well, which is darn good for a D rated tire.

Here is mine before i went to 37" mtr ,these are 305/70/17,A pretty good all around tire they wear fast but what tire doesn't with these heavy trucks,Also they are fairly quite for a mud tire. Rotate them often and they will last longer. DAVE... #ad

Awesome, I love the 305's. Did they stick out from the wheelwells much?

Actually they don't stick out to bad. Also they don't rub at all either even when i had it stock before the lift kit. It really makes the truck look thick. They measure up to 34". DAVE.....
