Got a part number from the local dealer, not sure if it is correct, they think it is the banjo bolt with the test port.

5015712AA Banjo Screw $25. 70

Seems kind of steep, but it could be correct. I am going to check it out with another source.

hey blair , thanks for stepping up . that may be a good alternative , no its not hard to do , but you have to be careful and do it slowly , drilling in steps .

guys CHECK THE PICS AGAIN , i'm adding 2 more pics of yet another BOMBed filter housing component ... the outlet tube the filter slides over . i didn't see a pressure increase with this mod , but my flow is increasing with alot of these mods i'm doing . i have to make a bolt that i can screw a 1/8npt into and remove the schrader valve to see if its affecting my readings , also i ordered the carter rebuild kit and am going to crack open my stock lift pump and clean the screen and replace the vanes and rotor to see if that helps it out before i install the HP 15 psi pump i ordered .

jallen , the fuel heater is the black plastic ring in the top of the filter housing when you pull the cap off on 2000 up trucks , 98 - 99 guys are on their own till i get down and dirty in one of those housings . you need to pull the filter housing from the truck and mount it in a vise , its a bear to get the heater out , i ended up breaking off the tangs that hold it in , i did not have a vise handy when i pulled it .

Just got off the phone with the local Cummins shop and here is what they told me.

3946109 -Banjo fitting with test port $9. 09
3903035 -Banjo fitting no test port $7. 39

edit-> Includes replacement crush washers

2000 and 2001 have four banjos, lift pump, filter in, filter out and injection pump in, is that correct?

3946872 -Fuel filter housing assembly $110. 00

Just in case you need one to experiment on. That includes a new lid, bracket, heater assembly, H20 sensor etc.

Blair
Do you have MOPAR part numbers for the fittings. I'm curious if the local Dodge dealers are trying to screw me over or are just incompetent.
