I'm running them on my 03 without any lift and no rubbing at all. I'll try to post a picture when I get back in from offshore. I get in wednesday and I'll try to do it then.
Since I am getting pretty good at driving my truck I figured it was time to take the training wheels off
Seriously though I never wanted a dually and at the dealership where I bought my dually the salesman and his manager told me the only 1 tons I could get were dually's or quadcab SHORTBEDS. So i bought the dually thinking it was the only way i could get a 1 ton long bed. i don't really need a 1 ton and I'm sure a 3/4 ton would of been fine but I guess its was a ego thing. Lesson learned, DO RESEARCH!
The conversion cost was a $1000 for new take off bed, $1000 for wheels and tires and $200 labor to take my dually bed off and put the new one on. I am hoping to recover some of the costs by selling my dually bed and the 7 wheels and tires I have for it
