Nice job Greeds22. Are the doors from a Ford Crew Cab? I know, you made them, but they do look like Ford and I mean that as a compliment.

No the doors are stock dodge doors that are cut down.



Well i have been pulling my hair out trying to come up with a door that i like. The doors that you see on there now dont have a window and would need a custom window made, witch is a couple grand from what i heard.



So i cut the top hoop off of a chevy suburban door and now the door looks like this.

How do you think that looks? I swithed to the newer chevy door handles and plan on using the escalade chrome handle with the paint buckets. What do you think of those? I got a jig built to help line things up to mount the hoop on top of the door. I might try using a stock chevy door and just reskin it but i really want to keep the dodge door panle inside.

I am so close to just giving up and calling bayer and have them finish it. I had talk to them around july. 07 but then it took 3 months until they could get it in and by then i had cooled down and figured i would give it another try this winter. It would be around 5k to have them finish what i got not including paint. All i know is i am not going another summer with out my truck. i got a few options.

1. pay bayer

2. i got a 1 gen crew cab body and a diffrent frame

3. Go back to stock and forget the whole thing ever happend.



i saw that one on ebay. Man is that a nice truck. i am painting mine black too so it will look just like that one. (if it ever gets done) Not to make anything any easier, my hotrod vp went out again. so its getting p-pumped too.

I would pay Bayer to finish it. I plan on taking my 02 to them when it's paid off. I'm trying to sell my 82 right now.
