Just put on the front 6% coils and Bilsteins. Waiting for the dp leafs to arrive to finish the rear. Install was cake granted my truck only has 19k miles. Did it in my garage myself and a friend.

Is it about a 2inch lift all around?

So far so good. Ride is a bit more firm but not harsh. Went over some speed bumps at a local mall and that was nice, no bottoming out. Handling was nice as well, overall a tighter feel. I'm running the stock sway bar end links cause the nice ones are backordered so that might help a touch more for handling.



The front raised a hair under 2" and the rear did not, yet. My driveway is not level so a couple pics may look a little deceiving. The dual purpose leafs are coming tomorrow, I hope to install them and the bilsteins after work. I will post pics when I get the rear done.

Got the rear leafs in tonight. To dark to take any pics. I'll go to a nice level parking lot tomorrow and take some. Took a quick spin around the burbs and into the city. Very nice! The leafs soak up the bumps and jarring potholes much better No rear end "hopping" out when you hit a good bump. I forgot to measure the height of the rear before so I don't have any real measurements unfortunately. It looks like it raised it maybe a 1/2" or so. Hope to get it on the highway tomorrow as well.

Go for some 35's. My friend's got some 285-75-17's and it's hard to tell the difference between his and my "70's". Same brand,Toyo.

I have not had a chance to tow with them yet. Driving unloaded on the highway was where I saw the biggest improvement. They soak up the bumps, potholes and the concrete cuts a lot nicer than stock. That would be great if you posted some pics when your done.



I really want to pop for some 285-75's. It hurts my pocket book though cause I just bought these this past summer and they have only 10k on them. I'd be lucky to get half what I paid.



How much do you think going from 285-70's to 285-75's would raise my truck?

JMusso, if I understand it correctly the number 285 is the tire with in millimeters. The second number (70 or 75 in this case) is the percentage of the sidewall height to the tire width. Meaning in this case that your sidewall is 70% as tall as it is wide. Going to a 75 tire would mean 75% as tall as the tire is wide. So that's a 5 % increase in sidewall height as it relates to the tire width, or, 14. 25 millimeters. I think that's about 5/8 inch.



I am sure someone will correct me shortly if I am wrong.

I'd love to but I have to watch my overall height. My garage is exactly 7' and many parking garages in the city and burbs are right around 7' but many times sprinkler pipes and such hang down an inch or two. I don't want to decapatate my truck. As it is right now I have 1. 5" clearance to get in my garage. I don't want to spend the coin on 75's if they don't look any tougher than my 70's.



Toyo's website lists the o. a. d. as 33. 8 for the 75's and 32. 7 for the 70's. Dif being 1. 1". So would that mean I divide that by 2 and my truck would raise . 5"??

Correct JMusso, I think it is always best to use the tire company website to get the height. To do it with math you would takt 285 divide by 25. 4 multiply by . 75 then double it(two sidewalls) then add in the 17" rim. It will be close but most times not the same.
