Fireman?
No fireman. Just luck that I ended up with three red dodges. Gets confusing at my house. Which red truck??
The 93(tow vehicle) my dad bought new in late 92, I have owned it since 95. It has 2. 5" skyjakers softrides on the front. The rear is stock springs, with kelderman air ride, plus I added air lift bags to keep the truck level when loaded like it is. The tires at this moment are 305 something BFG MT's
The 75 (muddy truck) I built from the frame up, touched everything. It has a 4" rough country kit all the way around. Cross over steering, 33X12. 5 swampers. Dana 60F 14 bolt rear 4:10 gears. 440, 4sp, 203tc. Lock right in the front, and needing a detroit in the rear. Headers dual 3" pipes with flowmaster mufflers. Runs good. I off road it, and also street class truck pull it.
The 90( rear of trailer) I purchased from a friend not long ago. It came just as it looks except the wheels and tires on the 93 came on the 90. It looks like it has a 6" lift on it. It currently has some driveshaft angle issues that need resolved. It will be set up to 4 wheel (lockers, boggers,) I am planning on removing the bed, bobbing the frame right behind the rear springs and making a short flatbed(for better departure angle). I once thought about making it an offroad only truck(not street legal) but I think I like having it to run around in all the time. I will bomb it pretty good, and upgrade the auto, but still make it road worthly.
Thanks for all the praise. After we get moved I have a nice back yard to get GOOD pictures of the trucks to post.
Gross weight. Didn't have time to weigh it this weekend. Truck and trailer wieght 15000# empty. The 75 is 5500# empty, and the 90 is prolly 6000# empty. Plus there was 1000# of suitcase weights under the 90 on the trailer(for truck pulling), AND there was a dana 60F, 70R, 727/205 in the back of the 75. Was around 28,000# down the road. Handles it well. Had troubles with 30 mph winds on saturday, had to drive by the pyro.
