there are not RECONS... Those are my factory cab lights that came on the truck

I really like the Smoked Recon's, but I don't like having to splice in there bulb sockets.

I guess what they did is etched them some how so the paint would stick, then misted them with a very light coat of black paint, then hit them with a clear coat and that be it... . Cant even tell there painted they really look like they have been smoked like a bug shield or something... turned out awesome

The two sets of lights in the first post aren't the same "covers", are they? The screw patterns look a bit different.

Closer examination of said pictures reveals that they are infact completely different. :-laf



The 1st pictures have the two screws on the left & right, the latter pictures show the screws on the top and bottom.

No they are not the same lights... ... I indeed have 2 sets of lenses... . with different hole patterns... . Good eye. .

How does that work if the screws are not in the same spots as OEM? Did you drill/tape new holes?

drilled holes and they come with these anchors that push into the holes and they screw right ine there.

I like the look of the cab lights I have been considering something like that on my truck just not sure what I want to do yet... I am thinking the smoked would look good with the dark mineral grey? Now you need the smoked LED 3rd Brake Light to go with it,
