Picture of Grid Heaters? Anyone?

I did a search to find a grid heater picture, but I couldn't find anything. Anyone have a picture they can post? Thanks.

What do you need one for? You could take a pic of yours?

It just sits under the air intake horn. 4 bolts hold it on. Simple heater.

Speaking of grid heaters. Is it 90 amps for each and there is two? I got differing answers so I called cummins and they confused me even more. I got a solid 90 amp answer out of em though. Nice people.

my truck...

is 600 miles away right now. Even with my zoom at max, the picture resolution wouldn't be fine enough! So, if anybody's got one, or don't mind taking one, I'd be a mite obliged.



BTW, my beloved (my truck ) and I have been separated since January 30th. Its coming up on 3 months. :{ Only good thing is, it has had no miles put on it in 3 months.

There are two fo them and that is for each for a total of approx 180 amps.

And when left on they will drain both batteries fairly quickly thus emitting a nasty smell as the insulation is burned off of the leads. They are also known to change the color of your pretty Grey air intake to a nice brown/black flat color. And most importantly the faulty relays are not covered by the cummins warranty.



With as much heat generated I couldn't believe that there wasn't more damage! At least the grid heaters still work.
