RV site rental question

Green Bay to Omaha and more...

Just a couple pics of my mud flaps. Wife hooked me up with the flaps from a Cummins dealer for Christmas and I had a friend weld up the tube. Into it about $50 for everything (including the case of beer I had to give for that 1-1/4" tube :-laf)

My wife thought I was nuts when I threw them on and cruised around town to show them off... Says I'm a redneck... to which i replied "Yup!"

I like those flaps, I want to use some like that when I put on a flatbed. I have looked for some with the big "C" but without success. I will check the Cummins in Elko to see what they can find. Any part numbers?

Looks good!

Had these on my 2002. Sold it and bought a 2007. 5 3500. Saved the bar and mudflaps and endend up hanging the mudflaps in the garage and storing the bar.

Desperado, I dig the blue accent on your flaps, its a nice touch. I was too cheap to go buy a set for trailering, so I figured I'd give it a shot at making my own (plus I got to use flaps with the big "C" on em!)

Hey WA,

I like them. When I was in Myrtle Beach, SC 2 years ago I purchased a set at Camping World. Mine do not stick out beyond the rear bumper as yours does. Before I added the FreightLiner flaps several weeks ago my rear wheels still put some debris on the 5er. With both sets I am covered.

Be sure to have a good label made and place on top of the end of the tubing. "Do Not Step" or "No Step". I am telling you before it is over some nut will stand on the end to get in your truck.

Cumminz, thats a dang good idea. I wouldn't have thought of that until it had happened.

By the way, I love the "BTF" on the tailgate... My dirty mind goes for that everytime!
