I belive Dodge Torque Wagon has 305 70's, dunno if he has any pics here tho.
all the tire companies that make a 305/70/16 recomend a 8" wide wheel for them. if it is the latest model steel wheel that is 7. 5", i think you can get away with it, but bad idea on a 6. 5". i have 305's on 8" wheels in the back on my tahoe, and i wish i had them on some 9" ones. .
It looks good with the 315's. I want to use the 2. 5" lift too except I'm going to lift the rear too. I might go with Nitto 305/70/r16 though. I have to check the price first.
