New pics of my '92 with the 4" lift and the bigger tires. Hey Jay, I think I can see your house in the first picture! ;) The first pic is looking across the Long Island Sound towards Connecticut.

Heck I thought you already was tall! Did you have a lift before or is this stock height? Awesome though, always felt a black ex-cab 4wd with cab clearance lights 250 or 350 is the best looking 1st gen.

When I bought the truck the front end sat real low compared to the back. It had 4" springs done to the rear because the previous owner had a very heavy slide in camper and didn't like the way the truck squatted with a load. I tried to get it to sit level with add-a-leafs, but only got it to go up 2". I finally broke down and bought 4" soft rides from Skyjacker to get the front up to the right height. It also rides alot better now than it did with the stock springs with three add-a-leafs.

The first one was taken at Crabmeadow Beach, the others were taken at the Town of Huntington boat ramp which is across the inlet from the LIPA plant in Northport, so yes you are right, it is the Northport power plant in the background.

Nice. Oo.

I love the look of a lifted dually.

I had the 4" Skyjackers on my old '83 and was really happy with the ride. Better than the 5" Superlifts I have now.

WOW!!! :--) Oo. thats a SWEET RIG! where does the exhaust dump out at is my only question? time for miters :p ?

:)

AWESOME truck!!!!

It's got a complete 4" system with no muffler, it dumps in back of the right rear tire with a nice 5" stainless tip. Unfortunately you can't see it in any of the pics. When I bought the truck it had 3" pipe all the way from the turbo to a HUGE muffler and out the back... 3" bad, 4" good!

Thanks for all the compliments guys!

Thats sweet man! ;) I'll bet that black paint is fun to keep clean.

What size tires are you running now? I have been thinking of going smaller on my 93. Its currently running 305/70R16's. They are too tall and wide for pulling trailers, and getting good economy. I can really tell a differnce pulling trailer from the 33X12. 5's I used to run. I really like the way it looks now, but I have plenty much tire for trailer pulling.

Black is definately NOT easy to keep clean. As far as the tires, they're BFG All Terrain 235/85 R16's. They're just over 32 inches high (I could have gone taller, but there's always next time).

Thanks for all the compliments, they make all the hard work worth it!
