agree on smackin panels on some trails, but full width axles will not fit without major bs rims on many places the rigs i build run, i assume you run rocks? The buggy will only run certain places as it is to wide i think, and it will be on a 120" wb. The 4 runner is about 108" to help with angles.
I had not heard or seen anywhere about your decision on the trans that is why I posted trans stuff, what transmission you using?
no question on the 14b stronger then the 70, that why 4+ rigs i built run them.
not sure if you have seen this, but i would consider shaving the rear while it is out,

I ask questions as that is the only thing I can do, i cannot visually see whats up. I just trying to help at what little i can do at some 1000s miles away. I love building rigs. I have no way of knowing your knowledge other then how you answer my questions. I only posted a few examples of what i have built just to show that in noway that i am a webwheeler, and that i do have experience.
The wheelbase arguement is forever a classic, these vehicles are purpose built, most have limited street time, not DD, the places ran the longer wheelbase (about 110"+) have more trouble then less. SWB flop can be helped with LCG and vehicle weight, LWB is generally heavier, a way to correct high center is to go higher but then you have a better chance to flop.
I have thought about a similar swap and question what springs to use. Either setup like factory leafs and be to stiff for fun, or work for fun and have to be replaced every year. Nationals would be an option.
