The truck looks great with the trailer of hay behind it!!

How many tons on the trailer???? Looks to me like about 3 1/2 to 4 tons with 100 lb bales... .....

I have to do the same thing next week, two trips for hay with 5 1/2 to 6 tons each trip.

Rich

Yeah, that load was 3. 5 tons. Paying about $70/ ton for 1st cut mixed grass timothy hay. This is the first cut from this field after being reseeded last year. Good stuff! Getting a little late for first cut around here though, but we've had a cool spring and everything is a little late, this was brought in about 2 weeks ago.

Pat

Truck looks great, Pat. It's easy to be kind to a truck that looks good. :) Nice boards, too.

It would be nice if they would let us post decent-sized pics. This is a pay-to-use site. Hint hint hint. ;)

Good lookin rig, it's good to see a truck being used like it should. I'm in the middle of the same thing. I pull a Donahue 812 expandable flatbed with my 01', but I think my boy's 92' does just as good. My wife thinks I'm nuts but you can't beat the looks of a clean 1st gen.

Doug

Thanks everyone! Looked at the '03 early this year, but 40K for a new one does LOTS of bombing to the '92:D

Plus, I just like the older style:cool:

Classic CTD Pictures...

That's a tough looking truck Pat, excellent mods too. The pictures are a fine example of a well kept "classic work & play truck" that we all drive:D

Someone wrote somewhere, "Remember it's only metal", oh yea, that's right... Patrick.

Sharp truck! Of course I'm a little biased, here is what she would look like with 285 BFG MT's

Awww.. . Turbo, now I'm gonna have to buy new tires:D Nice Truck! What color combo is that? Mine is Radient Red Metallic over Siver Metallic (98' Chrysler Concorde colors). Almost twins:cool:

Pat

It is the factory red and silver, as can be evidenced by the peeling silver but I can't tell you the exact colors because I have since sold the truck (wish I still had it). I noticed the red seems to go further down on the top band than yours. My mistake in the last post though, those are all terrains, previously I had 255/85 mud terrains on it though. I liked the MT's better because they didn't pick up the little rocks and fling them at 60 mph.

Bluebird,

If you want to post a picture to the forum you open it up in readers rigs and at the bottom of the picture are the words Forum Codes, click on that and then you copy the size you want and then click on the IMG button when making a post and paste it in there. Here is Bluebirds truck, pretty clean looking truck by the way.

Here is another picture

PPeters,

Here is a picture of me loading the gooseneck with square bales. We just finished our second cutting Orchardgrass on Sunday afternoon. Once I was loaded, I had 10K of hay on and 4500 of trailer. I delivered it to the neighbor and got $120 per ton. Now we are doing straw, if it would ever quit raining. I even have Philip out here running the Case loader:D The old Dodge sounds great pulling a load, makes the neighbors aware of what is going onOo.
