NICE FORKS

Jeremy:

Where did you get the forks? Man, that would make the job easier! Just got another 790 bales in yesterday, just about finishes the job. Figured this at about $30/ton, but it should be cheap, being that it is first cut this late. Mixed grass, lots of birdsfoot, but I'm sure TDN is low. Bad year for hay around here, wet and cold most of June, everything is late. Know a bunch of guys that lost most of first cut to VERY BAD WEATHER FORCASTING. Like, "No rain in forcast for the next 5 days... . ", go cut 10 acres, and it rains for the next 2 days! Oh well... .

$120 a ton  Glad I'm not paying that, but nice if you're the one getting paid. What were you getting for first cut?

Ok you guys, don't be fooled by Jeremy's picture, he's scammin you all... ... Look close at the picture... . normally when you pick somehting up with a set of 'forks' the thing you picked up is ON TOP of the forks... . geezzzzzz you can't trust them farmers no-how ;);):D

Bob, organist for Our Lady Of Acceleration Church. ;)

That ain't me JD. I do not wear hats like that. Not even on a bet.

BW if you had seen the sharp set of hooks on the bottom side of that loader attachment. You would know why the bales are hanging from the bottom side.

What's wrong with the hat?

Pat,

I sell the forks and accumulator setup. PM me for more info. I can gather up 8 bales behind the baler at once and then pick them up with the forks. However, the baler broke today and it is now being repaired at Philip's. There is just something wrong with hauling a baler in town to fix it. I sold first cut for $90/ton out of the field. The $120/ton stuff included stacking it in the barn with the forks. I unloaded 200 bales in less than twohours. Didn't even start sweating.

JD,

I admit the hat is mine. I might be a redneck, but I hate having one. Keeps the sun off real well. If Philip ever wears a hat like that I will take a picture to prove it.

Lady Accelerant of the church,

Those forks work well for picking up roadkills, dead cows, and the ocasional stray Ford Festiva. Sure beats handling the bales by hand.

Nice truck Steve! I finally unscrewed the plug in my brain that was stopping my higher functions and figured out how to create an album, so pic's are there.

Pat

Thanks guys,

I'm really glad we finally got a Digital camera, I have been itching to get pics of my truck on here for so long. Finally got it figured out.

EVERYBODY comments on my wheels, I think they just about make the truck.

Here's another one I took a little while ago.

I don't really like taking the pass. side of my truck because the whole rear quarter panel is dented pretty bad where my grandpa jackknifed a trailer.

JFitzgerald, I seen your truck a TIM, but I didn't get a chance to talk to ya. Lookin good:D
