This is a great thread! It should make the install of my gauges, I just ordered, much easier. One question... where did you get the "Piers Bolt" ???

Mine came with my boost gauge from Diesel Performance of Utah, but you can order one directly from Piers. I don't know if Genos has them or not.

I'd just like to take the time to chime in and say "thanks" to all who posted pics and comments on this topic. All the info here will be used after Turkey Thursday for my install. All the info I've learned here is well worth my $35 TDR subscription rate each year. Thanks again to everyone who posted here. I appreciate it and love this type of exchange of information. It's what the TDR is all about !

The TDR is definately worth the price! Because of the TDR I have saved and spent way more money than I ever would have otherwise.

I did a gauge install write up on dieselram. Here is my boost bolt and the wire you can tap into at the dimmer switch for the dash lights. I used a fair amount of blue lock tight on the boost bolt to keep it in place and to seal the threads.

rbattelle,

Does the bolt with the ground strap lead to the inside of the intake, too? If it does, what size bolt is it?

Thank you.

Good question. I don't know, for sure. I suspect it doesn't.

The size is M8x1. 25.

Thanks. I can only get up to 24 psi with my 2005 HPCR, even with the XZT box. I noticed the bolt missing on my engine and what looks lie sealer in the bolt hole. I will try a bolt in there, just in case.

Thanks again.
