I happen to be lucky enough to have a top diesel shop here in town so my money gets split between Scheids and PDR.

Lastly, as a matter of fact, I have been IMO screwed over by PDR, Mark wouldn't warranty a less than a couple month old fuel pressure gauge here a ways back. But I didn't go and advertise it, oh wait, I just did:rolleyes:. Since then more of my money has remained local.

Since my fingers are warm :D . No offense to Mark but he ain't the boss and if he said something I didn't like or agree with :-{} I sure wouldn't hesitate to talk to Piers'.

No vendor is perfect, I have been on these boards for over 5 years now myself. Piers has had a very good reputation and I am sure he will take care of things. In reading the email sent to Piers it was snide and antagonistic, but thats my opinion and I have been known to get that way myself. I have learned that going about it in that manner doesnt get the quickest and friendliest response to problem. At any rate I hope you get it all staightened out.

You can always complain about bad service in the forums. It does two things. First, if properly done it can alert others to possible problems with vendors. Second, if done like this it will alert vendors to possible problem customers. Sorry you are having problems. If you need help with the install, post what you need and someone will help you. That's all you have to do.

I agree I posted in 2 areas, members only and the general forum. I originally posted in the members only section thinking I would keep it in house. But then thought to get more feedback in the general forum. Understand the impression it may give. If I could delete the post in the members only forum I would but I cant since people replied. If you know a moderator please point them to this post and have them delete the one in the members only section

Thanks

I have dealt with PDR and have nothing but good to say for them and their customer service.

Ron, if you want to try that, I'd be happy to send you a full compliment of TST plates & a few of my own design to try. No charge, as I know you are a very honest guy. Keep the one you like the best, send the rest back.

You can also look at it like this, this post is generating a lot of positive press for PDR as well. I didn't say anything negative about PDR I just gave my thoughts and showed the real email I wrote. And yes it was a little snotty. I am not trying to hide anything here just want to know. Consequently, Iam finding out what people think about Piers, and they are getting some pretty darn rave reviews if you ask me.

It sucks waiting on parts, especially when there is more hp involved. Put Jammer 2's in mine a while ago. If you hit a snag on the install send me an e-mail and I'll help if I can.

Look This thread has in fact gone as far as it needed to go. Yes Basullivan agrees that he did come across as being a little harsh and has aknowledged that fact. However what is NOT tollerated on this site is name calling and that is the stuff we do want to keep clean as the world does have an open window to look in on us. It takes a strong person to admit he or she was wrong and Basullivan has done so after reading that there have been many a happy customer in the past present and hopefully future as well.
