Ok, there is a lot of emotion and concern in regards to my original post so let me try and set the world right.
I have no issue with Piers; he is a good person and has called me to ensure I am happy. Piers Thank you for your call, I am happy and all is well.
I have no issue with anyone I spoke with at Piers; they are all very professional and knowledgeable people.
I received non deliverable email notifications in my inbox this morning for all those I emailed at Piers, seems there is something not right in the email conduit, therefore they never got my emails and didn’t know to call me.
I posted here as a dues paying member looking for validation Piers Diesel Research was a reputable supplier, I received that validation. In no way was this a personal attack against Piers himself and or his staff.
I also received validation that my expectations may have been over inflated and that I may have over reacted by posting in the first place!
So here is the end of the story!
Between the call when I found out they had not yet shipped and the time they did ship was a matter of hours not days as may have been perceived by the verbiage I used to describe the events as I perceived them.
The instructions for the Jammer 2 have been received from PDR and about 10 TDR members, thank you all.
I received the HY-Tech Differential cover Last night, it was a 2 part shipment and Fed-Ex delivered them on 2 different days (Please don’t take this as I am slamming and Fed-Ex)
PDR is shipping the correct filter no problem, sent right out.
The gauge pod is my choice to use or ship back not an issue.
The $125. 00 for shipping was my misinterpretation of the bill; it was $100. 00 core charge for the injectors and $24. 00 for shipping.
Like I said in my original post, I chose Piers Diesel Research because of what I had read at TDR and in the TDR quarterly. I therefore posted my concerns to the source to which I owe my original opinion formulation in an attempt to revalidate my original conclusion; Piers Diesel Research is the company I want to do business with.
