Competition Ultimate Pulling Drivetrain

Competition Truckin' Nationals this weekend?

I would like to thank Piers and Louise and the whole PDR family for an outstanding event!!!!!!:D

It was great to get together with all those people saw a lot of friends old and new!!!!

And some ungodly power!!!!!

Jason your truck was unbelievable!!!!!!!

Thanks for a great weekend!!!!!

I was VERY happy with my 462. 8 hp :D

I read in another thread that Jason had 753hp at the wheels... . on #2 only... . and using 1:1 in the transmission.

That just plain rocks!

Matt

His (Jason's) first run broke a strap on the Dyno  it looked like he was coming off!!! The truck jumped about a foot sideways and the place went silent.

After everyone cleaned there britches he hooked up again and Piers hooked his truck to the dyno to hold it down and off Jason went again!!!!! I could not believe it when I saw 753 hp on the projection screen

That was a sweet run!!!!

Great time to be had by all it just couldn't have been better, 67 trucks dynoed plenty of fun, food and laughs. Odd to me that I won the Unlimited class as I felt that is were I need to be running water/meth, Fletcher had a clitch that worked out later as did Steve, rode in Steve's truck later that evening and I can't hang with it..... way strong and scary. Unbelievable event put on by the PDR bunch, very well organized and very well run and I'm looking forward to coming back for another but for now I have the drive home to think about:D Great to get to meet everyone an share stories and see the parking lot tricks:p

Jim

It ain't too far north, just WAY too far west. :D Sure wish I could've been there, but I feel lucky to have met Piers at Muncie. I'm sure the rest of the gang is awesome too.

Thanks PDR, and everyone else involved. I had a great time. It looks like the first gens are starting to catch up. 446. 2hp 1050lb/ft. :)

Mike

I too had a great time. Great to meet everyone and see some really very very nice trucks. My hats off to PDR bunch for putting together a first class event! I'll have to upload pics later...

Also, had the great opportunity to meet Bill and Stephen (sp?) Kondolay of DTT transmission and Peter of South bend Clutch.

I would like to see with the names what trucks they were running, ie first gen, second, 24 valve. Would like to know the torque numbers too, as they mean more to me.

Sounds like you all had a great time. Maybe another time I can talk the wife into a little vacation in the first gen. :D

Big thanks to the PDR crew for an outstanding event! :) They kept things running smoothly, were great to talk with, and fed everyone too!

Jason worked his tail off as usual, looking like he worked a coal mine by the end of the day. It was great to see him throw out that horsepower (in a 12 valve, clap clap clap) as he's really done his homework!

It was a shame that both Fletcher and Opie had problems with their trucks, as they too were strapped to Piers's truck and seemed primed to put down huge numbers too...

Jason installed delivery valves in my truck Friday night, which brought my all-time best ET down from 13. 29 @99mph to 13. 14 @101!! Fastest truck of the night too! :D :D Thank you Piers! That added horsepower put me smack at the bottom of the next class (never fails... ). I am, however, visualizing the 12's drug- and twin-free... :D

My favorite part of the day were the donuts in the parking lot afterward! Piers led, I followed, and Opie showed us both up! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!! Oo. Oo.
