Piers! Governor Kit for VE Pump?

Does anyone offer a governor kit for our Bosch VE 44 that would allow for increase RPM range before de-fueling?

Inquiring minds want to know.....

No governor kit as per say... pump has to really come apart before you can change springs. You can how ever adjust yours for free #ad
On either side of the pump you will notice two long screws. The one one the inside [closest to cyl. head] is your idle fuel adjustment & the easy one to get at is your hi idle setting. Pry off the "tamper proof" #ad
cover. There will be two jam nuts holding the set screw in place. Takes a 10mm wrench to loosen the jam nuts. Then back out the hi idle screw about 2-3 turns. Make sure the throttle linkage hits the end of the hi idle screw [ bolt actually] if all okay fire her up and go for a drive. That should increase your rpm by 200-300. If you want any more rpm than that I would suggest getting the gov. springs changed.

I have had the high idle screw adjusted for quite some time now. when i first adjusted it, i did notice an increase of 2-3 mph, but it felt like my truck still defueled at the same point. is it just me? if not, is there a way you can adjust when the truck defuels?
