Hi Piers,

I wonder if you could give me your opinion on whether of not 21-22lbs boost is about normal for the mods in my signature? I see this boost in about 60*F temps with only minor diff. when warmer. The AFC is very near neutral setting and the full fuel screw is not yet bottomed out against the lock collar. (about 1/3 turn left to contact with collar? Diaphram set at 6-oclock
What do you think???
thankyou for input !!

What you're not telling me is, what kind of egt's can you see with this setup? 21-22lbs of boost with a 16 housing & you never see more than 1100 on your pyro sounds good. Bottom line fuel = heat = hp. Normally I would tell someone with your setup to adjust the fueling to 24lbs boost. Nice & clean no egt problems & you're not "overly stressing" the pump.

24# is what I get, but with the old housing. Sounds like a good setup Bush...

There is a truck for sale in your town Piers. Might have to come out for a visit. LOL

I knew I'd leave something out. Anyway, I have not had a chance to run WOT with a load on but empty I max out at about 750-775*F max in OD. Thats up the hill E. of Port Mann Bridge. (The hottest it ever ran is about 850* with a 2200lb camper and a 800lb utility trailer pre-mods and that was up 9 mile grade outside Hope. )
I have quite a blast of dark smoke if I mash it from 50Kph city driving situation. At highway speeds its a haze if I tromp it. The pyro is post turbo and VFI did the install in the elbow about 3" from flange.
I don't think I'm holding my mouth right as I don't think I'll tease 24psi without a fair bit more smoke.
