Just wanted to let you know that the 370's that i installed KICK MAJOR REAREND:D ! The truck still isnt where I want it. I think I need a clutch, plate (#0 I think), HX40 and propane injection. Yes that will do it!Oo. :--)

Paintersdsl:

I just installed Piers' HX-40 on my 96' Dodge and

can tell you the thing is awesome! No bottom end

lag and the difference in power from the HX-35 is

very noticeable. Add that to your 370's and you

will really fly!! Piers sold me my 370's too and they

really do make a difference!

Take care.

Paintersdsl - The #0 is too hot for the 'stock' HX40-16. I'd check with Piers about his turbo.

I've got the #4 & it's at or over the limit of the HX40-16, so the #0 has got to be worse ... or better, depending how you look at it. :D

The #0 is on order though. Oo.

CAnderson:

My mileage dropped from 18 to 17. 5 per gallon when

driving in the "city" under easy throttle.

You did pretty good. I went from 20. 5-21 to 17. , and that is with cruise on at 75 mph. I'm waiting on a timing kit from Piers now to see if thats out. If not the 370's are comming out and the 215's back in. They are a lot of power but I need the milage. I drive every day and tow a fiver.

You done good:cool:

. . Preston. .

dont forget to get the inj pump time set 15.5 deg best for my mpg

 19. 5 mpg around town (no load)

5sp 3. 54 265's

I lost some milage in town with the 370s but gained on the freeway and towing. On winter blend right now I get just shy of 20 and on summer blend it is 21 plug alittle.

What would DD 2's with a #4 plate and a Piers HX-40 net me in EGT's and Power with the DTT transmission and a 89 converter behind it first of course.

Jim (just wondering)

Thanks for the reply and comments!

I may not have "lost" as much mileage as I already had

the fuel flow increased on the P7100 and only went from a

#6 TST plate down to a #5. I also added the "Psychotty

Air Filter" at that time and contrary to what everyone else

says, I really think it has helped me out.
