I have conversed with Brent Lottman (sp?) at PML Inc. which produces Sand cast aluminum products such as Diff covers and Valve covers, among other things.

I E-mailed Them about producing Valve Covers for both the 12 valve and 24 valve engines.

He has asked If I could produce the part numbers for said valve covers, So I need to know if you guys can help me out.

I need the part number, chrysler or cummins or both for the 12 and 24 valve engines, and any changes in design and corresponding model year for those changes.

Right now I know that the first and 2nd gen 12v trucks have 6 identical covers with studs on the front and rear cover bolts to retain the badge plate.

The first gens are the same minus the badge plate?

24v appears to have a single valve cover. Since I know nothing about it, I need the part number for it and the newer engines, which all i've seen of which is a black ribbed design.

Try and help me out guys, I think alot of cummins owners would like these pieces.

Don't have PN, but the valve covers for the 12v engines are the same. Just the Dodge/Cummins piece is a little different between the 2. They appear to be also be the same as what is used on the 12v 8. 3L C-series Cummins.

There are two different covers (aside from being black or red) that fit the 24v engines that I'm aware of of. The trucks have the fill cap up front, the RVs and maybe other applications have the fill cap at the rear of the engine.
