Good kids fishing rod & reel?

man this kid was a joke but i thought i was gonna get pulled over again. I've been 3 times in the last 3 months they threaten with the license all the time. Friday i was involved with a lightning and they had the trap set and he came out buring and got behind me and sweated me for 3 miles. Now tonight i'm just smacking some chump on college drive with a black mustang he tries to go at a light and he's got this loud exhaust i don't know what else he had other then a ton of my smoke. I wasn't even trying to race but i needed the right lane and when he was in the way i just left him and then kept into it spooling up the dtt twins nicely. Then when i slowed down he got next to me and drove like he had some sense in a more civilized manner. But we got the light and i thought he didn't want anymore for sure since he passed like a chump. I hear that cissy let her go and i am all over it and i have had the twins tuned in a way to create the minimal lag and he never even got ahead i was ahead the whole time toying at like 100 mph on this road and i have to slow down because my turn is coming and what do i see there on the left side going straight (the direction i was to turn ) a cop of course. Jesus put the damn belt on without trying to be noticed, then took a quick left before his light changed then a right. then backtracked and he stayed stright the whole time and they both pass by me he's got his buddy with him. I was waiting to see any reaction but there wasn't one. I think winchells was about to close

why would your dog be in the street

i'm not sure i would want my dog in the street any time with anyone around much less racing that's why i use a fence or a leash which is the law in the city limits. I mean if a dog is in the road and it gets it how can it be the drivers fault unless he purposefly tries to hit it. i guarantee that if u let it run around in the street long enough it's gonna get hit whether by someone speeding or by some old blind lady who is going 20 mph or better yet what if your dog was in the road and someone was about to hit it and they swerved and instead hit a school bus full of kids and laid a couple of them up. Hows that scenario. So having a loose dog is even more irresponsable then driving 100 mph because at least i'm controlling my vehicle at 100 mph whereas you are letting your dog run around freely not knowing exactly what and where he's capable of walking to. See my point. I know when i press on the brakes the truck is gonna stop or at least slow down. So i feel my ability to judge traffic in the road is far superior to that of your dog but thanks for your feedback. and keep those dogs off the street

let me try to explain this a bit better sorry about that. In the last 3 months i've been pulled over 3 times and every time they say exhibitioin speeding they haven't clocked my speed but they see smoke and hear turbo's and hear tires. Anyway they always come with the 12 point ticket reference saying amateur racing is a instant revocation which i have been warned on all 3 times. This night i was racing the mustang and saw a cop right there and was certain he was gonna pull me over he didn't. This was on sunday evening and i had already been sweated pretty hard friday just 2 days earlier when i was followed after running with a lightning the cop was on my u know what big time. all the way up college dr to harmony and then west almost until shields. When the cop finally turned off i was like thank god. Again they didn't have me speeding on radar because the escort 8500 didn't go off. It's actually a darn good radar detector. The cops around here have started to become all to familiar with the vehicle and knowing that it has a very distinct ability to go over the speed limit pretty much all the time possible. Really i don't speed that much i try to get it up to the limit and or maybe 5 to 10 over and then shut her down. So maybe i'm speeding just a tad bit. One of the guys who pulled me over has a dodge truck and he said he was on here. I wonder if he's gonna realize it if he reads about it.

Hey moolie, who is the guy with the metallic blue furd ranger that hangs out up there?

I was going through town the other night and he was playing with me. He got up next to me and we rolled it on. He stayed right with me till I backed out at 70. He has something whining under the hood... . turbo, supercharger, or something.

Obviously, Moolie hasn't been attending grammar classes at whatever school College Drive is named for.....

Hopefully is driving skill at 100 mph is much better than his typing skill.

what's wrong with the grammar just so i know i'm a bit confused is it a typo or is it a grammar error. i mean is the letter that i was supposed to strike next to the letter that's there which is the mistake? That's a typo

I love people that go on forums and take the time to read people's posts and then criticize grammar. I mean it's like i'm writing to the president of the country. No not exactly it's like i'm writing something quick to a couple of folks here in the to read. Now if you wanna teach an english lesson i'd be more then happy to sit in on it as long as you are qualified since i have only taken english 1 at the college level nothing more than that. However i don't feel the need to use perfect grammar in the dodge truck forum but if you insist i'll give u an assignment go around and read all the posts and then submit the corrected copies to the people that posted them i'm sure they would all be very interested in seeing the corrected versions. Not boring get a clue man we aren't here to learn english and i didn't capitalize my I last sentence on purpose not because u are so much more intelligent that nobody would be able to remember common rules of the english language. small S see how i did that So have that on my desk monday that's your homework for the weekend. I forgot to use the actual 2 spaces after the period there. Boy what will i do. When you are done nitpicking and u get a life and wanna get somewhere with these rigs then talk to me but until then go critique some other person.

yeah man whenever you wanna go cruise it's cool i'll give it all it's worth i have to go off of college dr though they are just all over we need to get another place to run out in the country. Every city cop told me go out in the county

don't know about this ford ranger i haven't had a chance to smoke him out yet but i'll keep my eye open is it the newer body style. I'll ask around and see what i can find out and let u know all about it.

OK OK OK... Moolie... . The Grammar... makes things easier to read. I agree running 100mph down streets like that is stupid. Do your thing on the innerstate. I'll be the first to admit messing around on the innerstate or on Highways. Residential areas... . No. If you ever, EVER get the glimpse of a kid that is half a step away from wakling out between cars or around a bush (happened) you will NEVER see residential streets the same. At 100mph you wouldn't even know you just killed an 8 year old kid.

I dont' care who you are... . Mario Andretti can't stop a 6500lbs truck doing 50mph in a residential street in time for that kid... . Let alone 100.

Common out to MN... Do 100mph in my neighborhood... . If I don't get you my neighbors will!

Man, I couldn't stop a 1000-lb VW Dasher (my first car) going 15 mph in time to not hit a little girl that darted in front of me one time. She wasn't hurt or anything, but I will NEVER forget the fear I had when I hit her. And thus I will never ever speed like a maniac down a residential street. Interstates and highways, you'll seldom see me doing the limit, and I'm usually pretty fast on the main roads (when traffic and other conditions let me), but anyplace there's the possibility of kids I'm NOT going to chance hitting another one.

*Hands Josh back his soapbox*

My experience:

I was out on the porch one day minding my own business. The neighbor across the street came out of his house and proceeded to cross the street. He made it across by darting between cars. He did not see his little 2 year old come out the door behind him. The 2 year old didn't make it across. (I yelled to him about the 2 year old. Our road is a 3 lane , one reversable. He couldn't hear me over the traffic) The 2 year old just walked across and the car saw him come into the lane, and locked 'em up. I watched in absolute horror as the little boy was knocked 20-25 yards down the road. The car was going just 40 mph. It was just awful to see it happen and not be able to help.

I speed on interstates, but not in anyones residential area. I'll throw something at the ones who do in my neighborhood.

I'd have to disagree with you completely on that. At 100mph in a truck that should tilt the scales at or above 7,000lbs you have no control over it. You may be able to aim its direction, but,if a sudden stop or swerve was needed then you would understand just how little control you have. I'd rather see the dog running loose than someone who thinks they can imitate Warren Johnson on a city street driving a 7,000 lb truck.

I've been 3 times in the last 3 months they threaten with the license all the time.

I'd say that the old phrase "Living on borrowed time" fits you well and soon enough you will leanr the hard way. All of us here can only hope if it does happen you don't have a TDR sticker anywhere visible so they don't think we all drive you... ... ... Andy

i agree with josh, and hammer. Stay the hell away from my house. My house being in the *country* doesn't invoke a race above 60 - 65 mph. Just because you're in the *country* does not give you the right to run above the speed limit. Children and animals are fully capable of crossing the street in front of you while you feel the need to press the go pedal up to 100 mph. What is the fun in hitting something at 100, to see how bad you can total your truck ??? To see how far you can launch the next deer or cow or dog or anthing else in front of you ?

God gave you a head with a brain in it, please use it for something other than a hat rack!

I think it's safe to cut moolie a little slack here. College is not a residential street. It's three lanes both ways (for most of the way) It is not uncommon to run 55 in traffic through some sections. I have caught myself doing 70 in my work truck (1 ton dually, cube van) on an empty stretch.

Sure, 100 is pushing it, but it's not like he's running 100 through a school zone. That is unless this was through old town, but it's a safe bet that wasn't the case.

Had to stick up for him, since I drive the road almost daily.

Matt

you all have very valid opinions but every since i was a little kid i was taught don't talk to strangers and don't play in the street and look both ways before crossing. My uncle hit and killed a boy in nc in which he was doing the speedlimit and the kid darted out and it was an awful thing and very sad indeed. The courts found him not guilty and it's not a matter of how fast the guy posted above he was going like 15 mph and hit someone so how fast should he be going 5 mph. i mean come on man some responsability has to fall on the individual who either isn't watching their child or pet or the child themselves they must be taught to stay out of the roads. Not only that but at 12:00 am or whatever time it was i really doubt that there were any kids around downtown fort collins but if there were, then their parents should try and get them home before that time and keep them out of the streets. I mean it's an area where people always race so i know i wouldn't let me kid run around there late at night. My kid knows not to cross without looking both ways and if i see her and she doesn't look both ways she's gonna know all about it i guarantee that. Point blank if your kid in out and in a street that's been well known for people to speed and race and it's a friday night late even saturday morning, i'd hope that someone wouldn't have a child who is not yet old enough to understand things be out and about running and playing in the street. However if they didn't then that would be a case by case instance. Like i said the guy above was going 15 and a child ran out. Where were the parents, if i hit a person at 40 mph which is the limit there or 60 or 80 it's gonna be ugly no matter what. It's kinda like going over to a friends house who has ferocious dogs. I don't let my child be in the situation to have this bestow them. It's an easy answer to blame the driver. If i was or wasn't speeding and a kid ran out in front i'd stop the rig get out and yell for them to get out of the road, then depending on how old i thought they were and what time it was i would ask them where their mom or dad is and then tell them that he or she was playing in the street. If i go to yellowstone and feed the bears sooner or later i'm done for. So i don't go feed the bears, and if an unsupervised child too young is out on a busy street which has been known for racing wouldn't that be a very unfair situation to the child. I watched a high speed chase on tv this morning and the guy drove up on the curb and in the video you can see a grown man grab his daughter and tackle her back out of the way. He had plenty of common sense to understand the situation, and by him paying attention he may have saved her life regardless of what the criminal running from the law did. Everyone is so quick to point the finger at someone for something If i hit a kid at 100 mph i'll feel terrible no doubt. However if it's 2:00 am and the kid is like 10 or 8 and they are roaming around downtown unsupervised I'm also going to say why were little kids running around this late down town with no guardian. I know my kid wouldn't be down there that's for sure.

what if i did go on the highway and raced and wrecked and caused a tanker to hit a bus and explode. It's on the highway so this is not as bad in your eyes. It's an extreme scenario of course but it's possible. If you are gonna be against street racing u can't cop out with the fact that the highway is ok and the regular streets aren't. I'm sure most fatal accidents happen on the highway. So it's kind of a hypocritical statement to get down on someone because of the road they chose to run on. It's very hypocritical actually. if u are against something then be against it i can respect your opinon whether it's the same as mine or not but don't flip flop on the issues. lol

flippy the flip flopper was an approach that mr kerry tried and it wasn't successful. i respect your opinion and your thoughts but keep them genuine. .
