Competition Axles shafts

Competition Wow! Seems like a deal to me!!!!

I'm wanting to get a set of rear leaves that will lift the back of the truck about 2" while getting rid of the factory blocks, so I'm assuming I'll need about a 4-4. 5" lift spring? anyone know what angle shim I'll need?

thanks,

Forrest

Depending on the brand of leaves you get they should come with angle shims installed on them. I bought a pair of Skyjacker springs a long time ago and they had shims on them. My 8" Atlas springs for the '98 did not come with any, so I set my angle with my adjustable traction bars. :D

Ive got a set of leafs from SKYJACKER. They came with an angled shim. Now the driveshaft is parelle with the pinoin. IS THAT CORRECT?????????? I called SKYJACKER and they said,... yes. But if I was to tow a heavy load, wouldnt the angle go in the complete wrong direction at this point and bind the u-joints? What is the correct angle unloaded. And how do you measure it. I know SUMMIT sells different angle shims, as well as SKYJACKER. SO WHAT IS A CORRECT MIN. ANGLE???????
